Digital Cotton uses Design Sprints and Agile Development Sprints to deliver solutions in record time. The design process consists of 5 steps understand, ideate, decide, prototype, and test. At the end of the 1 week Design Sprint, a user tested and accepted prototype is delivered and consumed by the implementation team. The agile development sprint process takes over. The prototype is used to build the backlog and the team continues in the regular ceremonies to commit to and develop a potentially deliverable product at the end of the sprint cycle.
